Veterans Park
Flags surround a memorial in remembrance of the men and women who fought in our nation's armed forces.

Veterans Park
-
Address:
3550 Lyons Road
Park Hours:
Sunrise to sunset
Date Opened:
November 11, 1989
Features:
Flags, park benches and a knoll form a reflective environment around a memorial to our nation's veterans.

Not all parks are meant for sports and games. Veteran's Park was built with the assistance of the American Legion Post 170 and Minto Builders of Florida to honor those who fought to defend the freedoms that we enjoy today.

The park has recently undergone a make-over including new walkways for easier access and a new entrance leading from adjacent Township Plaza shopping center. Dedication mounts and more park benches have been added and the veterans monument has been moved to a more prominent location at the park’s main entrance.
