Map Determinations and Elevation Certificates
The Engineering Division provides Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) determinations to residents
inquiring whether their structure is located in a SFHA zone. Please call (954) 973-6786 for your
determination. To view the FIRM map, please go to the “Flood Awareness” link on the City of
Coconut Creek website; www.coconutcreek.net/floods/flood_insurance.asp. Elevation certificates are required as part of the
permitting process for all newly constructed or substantially improved buildings in Coconut Creek
in the Special Flood Hazard Area.
