This project was named Lyons/Wiles PMDD during the review process and has been renamed the Promenade at Coconut Creek. Construction commenced in September for this mixed-use project at the southwest corner of Lyons and Wiles Road. At this time, the developer will be constructing the first phase with retail and office space. The project was approved by the City's Planning and Zoning Board on August 9, 2006, and the City Commission on September 14, 2006 and December 19, 2006. The project is designed to meet the intent of the MainStreet Design Standards. The developer is also seeking LEED Certification for a "green and sustainable" mixed-use project.
