Chamber of Commerce Networking - Monday, Oct. 11

The Coconut Creek Chamber of Commerce will meet for monthly networking from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11., The meeting, which is being hosted by State Representative Ron Greenstein (D-35) will take place in the Planning and Zoning/Community Meeting Room at the Coconut Creek Government Center, 4800 W. Copans Road.
Guests and non-members are welcome to attend. During the meeting, Rep. Greenstein will discuss amendments to the Florida Constitution that are scheduled to appear on the Nov. 2 ballot. These are:
Amendment 1: “Parental Notification of a Minor’s Termination of Pregnancy.”
Amendment 2: “Constitutional Amendments Proposed By Initiative.”
Amendment 3: “The Medical Liability Claimant’s Compensation Amendment.”
Amendment 4: “Authorizes Miami-Dade and Broward County Voters To Approve Slot Machines In Pari-mutuel Facilities.”
Amendment 5 : “Florida’s Minimum Wage Amendment”
Amendment 6: “Repeal of High Speed Rail Amendment.”
Amendment 7: “Patients’ Right To Know About Adverse Medical Incidents.”
Amendment 8: “Public Protection From Repeated Medical Malpractice.”
