Pet and Animal Regulations

It is unlawful for any person owning any animal to permit the animal, either willfully or through failure to exercise due care, to create a nuisance through loud or annoying noise, vicious or mean behavior, obnoxious or annoying smell, or by permitting the animal to deposit excrement on the public streets or sidewalk or upon private property without the consent of the property owner.
Animals are prohibited in City parks. Exceptions include guide dogs, police animals, or in park areas where signs designate permission.
All animals shall be restrained by the owner utilizing a leash or other method of control.
No wild animals are allowed within the City.
